Mission
HAWA's mission is to empower the Horn of Africa women and their children through education and activities that will aid them in their transition from dependency to self sufficiency and integration into the American society.
Goals
- To improve the lives of women and children by connecting their personal struggles to society's larger issue.
- To support women and their children reach their potential through guidance, role modeling, mentoring and peer-to peer education.
- To improve the well being and the life chances of children.
Vision
HAWA's vision is to formulate an agenda for social change through the use of popular techniques, which will impact the lives of future generations and the future of the East African community at large.
